2019 Hayes Cup at Hammock Dunes Club
For the past 7 years we have held a Gold Game Ryder Cup which has been renamed “The Hayes Cup” in honor of our comrade Rick Hayes. It is an honor to be invited and participate. We have held the event at Kiawah, Streamsong, Orlando, etc. but 3 years ago realized there is no better venue than Hammock Dunes Club. Great tradition. You won’t find this anywhere else.
The starting point for any conversation about Hammock Dunes Club begins with our private golf courses. For golfers who enjoy playing the very best, Hammock Dunes is the premier oceanfront private country club in all of Florida featuring 36 beautiful holes. Our private golf membership includes the option of playing two completely different championship golf courses – our Tom Fazio Links Golf Course, which features spectacular ocean views as only Fazio can create and our renowned Rees Jones Creek Golf Course which is nestled among 690 acres of pristine, undeveloped forest and marshland. It’s a tough choice that our golf membership are happy to make every day!
The Links and The Creek golf courses are outstanding Fazio and Jones championship course designs that perfectly complement each other. The oceanfront Links Golf Course meanders through the beautifully-landscaped Hammock Dunes golf community. The Creek Golf Course is, traditionally, the site of the US Open and US Amateur Regional Qualifying events. In 2014, Golfweek named Hammock Dunes Creek Golf Course one of America’s Top 100 Residential Golf Courses.
The courses are strictly private, exclusive for our golf membership, and the club’s staff and members take exceptional pride in ensuring they are in top condition year-round. Both Hammock Dunes courses are also Audubon-Certified, reflecting the Club’s commitment to the environment.
Challenging, but Approachable
The Links is rated 73.6/138 and the Creek is 76.6/151 from the back tees. Both courses feature plenty of water and topography and the Creek has 7 tee box options and several carries that will truly test your skill, if you choose to challenge them.

Great Practice and Professional Resources
As a private, oceanfront country club focused on golf, our members demand outstanding practice facilities, which are present on both courses and feature large driving ranges, short game chipping greens with sand traps and three large putting greens.
